Last night I decided to try Reiki with my wife Helen. Not a full treatment, because it was getting late . I concentrated on the upper,middle and lower back and I could feel different temperatures as I continued the treatment. The lower back was very cold during the treatment but Helen felt the warmth of the Reiki. I initially did the treatment with a hands on approach and then repeated the exercise with my hands a couple of centimeters above. I felt the same temperature changes in the same places which I found really fascinating. Helen told me this morning that she slept really well!
I'm noticing a pattern of Reiki because every afternoon I get over energized in my hands and face. Its probably a crap explanation but that's the only way I can explain it, I do think its my inner self telling me to heal myself which I do. The energy is getting really strong now and I can't wait to start working with this properly and more importantly helping people other than myself.
I might begin offering a few family treatments to help me gain confidence in my ability and keep my journey moving forward so if you fancy having a taster before I am qualified let me know.
