The more I practice my new found skills the more I am noticing slight changes to my perception of the energy that rushes through me. I am now noticing my aura when healing myself and also engaging in Helen's aura (ooh how rude) and I am feeling that the stronger the energy pull in a specific area the more Reiki is needed.
Every living thing has an Aura and it surrounds us like a force field. Some people can feel it and in some cases they can see it. It is a few centimeters above our body and can have a number of layers and colours colours running through it.The colours and layers represent different feelings, emotions, thinking, behaviour, and health as well. Another thing I am noticing is when I place my hands close together I can feel the Reiki energy between my hands and it can vary from hot to cold and ferocious to calming. Nothing surprises me with this incredible healing energy and I still struggle to explain how it feels.
I am struggling to empty my mind during Reiki and find it takes a while to do this. My mind is over active with everything to do with my journey. I do believe that with time and practice I will be able to control my thoughts far more effectively and get in to the 'Reiki Zone' quicker. At least its only me that I am holding up and not a client!
After the business module at the college my focus has been shaken up and I have a much clearer business model to work towards. I think its very easy to get drawn in to the money side of it especially when Reiki is a very pure energy and has no place for ego. Of course I want to make a living from my therapies but I do know that I will have to incorporate other unique selling points in to my business to enable me to grow my core business in to a full time profession.
These are very exciting times and I cant wait to share my experiences during my first year of business and beyond.
My interest in spirituality has blossomed over the last 10 years with frequent visits to our local spiritualist churches and endless hours of reading literature and web research about different spiritual subjects. I then became interested in alternative therapies and in particular the ancient art of Reiki. You can follow my blog by adding your email address and it will update you when I post something new.
