I'm going off topic a bit today because I feel the need to voice my opinion on something that we ALL should do everyday of our lives. In fact I dare you to do it! Give yourselves 15 minutes of quiet time.
In otherwords turn off your phones, TV's, laptops, game machines and books and have 15 minutes to detangle your day's thoughts and slow your mind down so there is nothing in there except silence. My quiet time is either when I am walking at 6am in the morning or when I have Reiki before I go to bed. If I can do it with 2 kids and a wife who likes to talk then we all can! (sorry Helen but you do!)
Its only when I stopped walking that I realised that this 'me' time set me up for the day ahead and cleared my head of clutter!
I struggled to empty my mind to start with and now find I am having a better nights sleep and I don't wake up in the morning with the same frantic thoughts going round and round in my head.
I think we need to take a backwards step and realise that our lives are passing by like a blink of an eyelid and try and slow things down because before too long it will have passed us by.
I dare you to try it for a week. I bet you notice a difference, I know I have!
